We stopped by yesterday. We only had room to try the soft serve, but it was excellent. We had the kiddie sized chocolate and regular sized twist. The kiddie size is fine for an adult who just wants a little something sweet! Service was fast. The place is cash only, but prices are reasonable. It's easy to miss it while driving. We saw it as we just hit the bridge (it's tucked in on a north side road that leads under the bridge), so we had to go all the way over the bridge before we could turn around, but it was worth it. It was easy to leave as well, as you just follow the road under the bridge and it brings you out on the south side, near a traffic light.

We heard around town that this place was good however the Dairy Bar highly exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious. FYI - they only take cash but they have an atm on site. Their sign says worlds best chili dogs and they mean it. They were so good I had to have two. They also have corndogs and nachos for food choices. As for the dairy part they have soft serve ice cream. You can get blizzards, milkshakes or Sunday's. All four of us each got a vanilla malt to drink. Delicious! Super smooth, creamy, and had extra malt in them. One of the better ones I've had. If you're in the area and looking to crave your sweet tooth, definitely give the Dairy Bar a shot.

Being from Cincinnati, you could say we are chili dog experts. So it was pretty great to find some delicious coney dogs in Florida. This place, as you can tell by the name, is mainly a soft serve dairy bar, but they also have great icees and coney dogs. I liked that the hot dogs were a quality beef hot dog. You have the option to get mustards and onions (Umm, YES please!). The main difference between Cincinnati coney dogs and these were the liquid cheese they use as opposed to shredded cheese. I do wish my coney dog was a bit cheesier, but overall, it was super tasty! Wish I had room for some soft serve, but the coney paired great with a blue raspberry and lime icee! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very casual lunch or soft serve located almost directly on the beach in Daytona!

I've been coming to Daytona Beach Shores for years and somehow missed this place, but it is a n icon. You MUST try it. You won't be disappointed. For true ice cream lovers it is a great experience with friendly staff. A great family stop to eat ice cream together as a family at the picnic tables and look out over the Halifax river.

Very nostalgic local stand very small and cool great stop after the beach. Just pull off the road on the shoulder and enjoy a chili dog and a cone. This is just one of those place you want to say "yes I've been there".

My family rents a couple beach condos every summer and going to the Dairy Bar after dinner has settled has been one of our great traditions that will never be broken. I have never once had an issue here. I order the same thing every time because I love it so much. The workers are nice and patient when my huge, loud, and crazy italian family shows up. Little hole-in-the-walls like this are the type of places that need the love! After a long hot day at the beach...head over to the Dairy Bar, it will be one of the best decisions you will ever make.

This place is on my list of musts whenever I'm in town...and has been for many, many years. I love that I can share this part of my home away from home with my little girls. Just go with a vanilla cone and you won't be let down.

I have been coming here for over 20 years... This place still has the best, i mean the BEST soft serve Ice Cream anywhere.... Nothing better than getting a good ole Oreo Freeze and sitting down by the dock looking at the fishing boats coming in.... This place is a MUST when in Daytona Beach Shores/Wilbur by the sea!!!!

Excellent service! Good chili cheese dogs, and great ice cream. The corn dog was ok but not crispy. Cold cans of soda and bottled water not overly priced like some of the other fast food places. The rest of the menu items were reasonably priced as well. The eating area had nice clean picnic tables to sit at outside. If you are looking for a reasonable quick lunch and ice cream or just a quick snack just off the beach this is a good choice!!

I wasn't very impressed with this ice cream shop. I ordered a vanilla marshmallow sundae, but whipped cream, peanuts and a cherry did not come on it. It was an extra charge, so a "sundae" isn't really a sundae. The ice cream came in a drinking cup instead of a bowl which made it really hard to eat, and the marshmallow topping didn't make it all the way to the bottom so I was left with just vanilla ice cream halfway through. The vanilla is okay, just not very creamy. Also, they do not accept credit cards. And their hours are very strange, they don't seem to stay open until a set time, it's almost like they just stay open until it starts slowing down? We tried to go once at 915 and they were not open

Tiny ice cream shop located under the bridge. Go there for a sundae or a slushee after a hot day on the beach. Yeah, it's just ice cream and hot dogs, but 4 stars for the cool location and being a Daytona institution.
